Spanish giant, Real Madrid would reportedly be prepared to allow former Chelsea star Eden Hazard to leave the club during this summer’s transfer window if Mbappe arrives at the Bernabeu.
Eden Hazard has struggled to make his mark for Los Blancos since a 2019 switch from Chelsea, scoring just four times in 35 outings in all competitions.
Hazard is currently on the sidelines with another muscular problem, meanwhile, but he has a contract at the Bernabeu until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
According to a source, Madrid would be willing to offload the Belgium international if they manage to sign Mbappe, who continues to be linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain.
The PSG talisman is expected to be sold by the French champions this summer if he does not sign a new deal, and Madrid are said to be firmly in the hunt alongside Liverpool.
However, the PSG sporting director Leonardo revealed recently that a decision on Kylian Mbappe’s future would soon be made.
